SECOND REVIEW-- I have fired my gun now about 100 times and have had about 3 stovepipes....other than that it has been fine.....I took it to the indoor range and fired about 80 times at targets ranging from 25 to 75 feet. I must say first of all that I am 50 years old and just cannot see very well anymore....My glasses are made for seeing far away, which helps me see the target, but through those same glasses its hard for me to see the sites of the gun only two feet away....I tried shooting without my glasses and with them and I shot about 80 times and put my shots on the target pretty darn good even tho I couldnt see nearly as clearly as I used to be able to.......I LOVE THE GUN.......Its fun to shoot, and with the right ammunition is probably quite lethal......I know I wouldnt wanna be shot with it under any circumstances. If anyone wants a 380 caliber pistol and doesnt want to spend alot of money, I would highly reccommend this gun....Also, extra magazines made by MagSafe or MagPro, I used one at the range without any problems....they work very well.........Happy Hunting....!

FIRST REVIEW-- I wanted this gun because I always wanted a Walther PPK but cant afford one right now, so I heard alot of good things about Bersa and decided to get it.....The picture of the gun on this website makes the gun look like it has a blue tint to the metal.....Its a Thunder Deluxe with a "blued" finish....Ive seen guns with blued finishes before, and many of them have a blue tint to the metal just like the picture of this gun on this website.....When I got the gun, it had a shiny black finish.....not what I call blued, but Buds assured me that it was the correct finish and that many blued guns these days do not have the blue tint.........anyway, Im happy with the gun and the way it looks and feels and etc....Its a nice gun....seems well made, sturdy, and solid.....dont know why the guy in one of the other reviews said it seemed cheap and etc....doesnt seem that way to me at all.....nice detail in the piece with many machined grooves and a pretty nice finish.....I LOVE THE GUN.......The only negative I have right now is that the magazine doesnt seem to want to accept more than 7 rounds without alot of sweating....that 8th and 9th round just dont want to go in......Ive only shot the gun 7 times, so another review will come later......Buds was fine....No trouble with the ordering or recieving of the gun......I like guns that have a little design style to them, and even tho its not a Walther, I think its the best looking 380 out there, and from what I hear, the Bersas are good reliable guns......Im happy.........more later after I fire it more perhaps.....

Great pistol if you want a reasonalby priced firearm that will perform. Transaction, etc with Bud's was top notch. I've owned the Bersa UC9 and was blown away by its quality at such a reasonable price. So, when I started eyeing .380's, I went right back to the Bersa brand. This pistol was as expected, like the 9mm. Every moving part on the pistol was nice, smooth and easy. Almost as if already broken in. Bought 94gr Prvi Partizan for plinkin and 90gr Speer GoldDot for carry. Shucked both well. Had only 1 ftf with the Partizan brand. Reasonably accurate and normal recoil. Would definintely recommend!

Complete agreement with the above review. I had low expectations for this thing, but was blown away by the sheer fun of it. Spot on accuracy was a big plus- made me look reeeeaaaaal good at the range.

Field strip and reassembly can be done in about 30 seconds flat or less. Great sidekick gun.

Upon first receipt, it feels cheap, like plastic or lightweight aluminum. The mechanics click and clack a bit, it has annoying (but understandable) safety devices such as a master lockout (via hexkey), mag safety, and 2-stage safety/decocker.

BUT it shoots smooth and trouble-free, and put down FMJ and JHP rounds, even the cheap Winchester target cartridges. First round was a non-chamber round, but that was it, no misfeeds after that.

AND it holds 9 (which is not 15, but that's all my pathetic state will allow until Legislators get their collective brains out of their crapper). The mag is extended which diminishes its carry potential (don't have to worry because our equally pathetic and self-indulgent, self-righteous police don't let anyone carry anyway, even the ones of good standing with proven firearms track record).

AND it's incredibly accurate compared to my expectations. Obviously it's not a SIG P230/232, but it functions better than the POMFS S&W Walther PPK/S. Follow-up shots are easy and on target given the ergonomics are almost perfectly balanced for the fairly light recoil.

AND 380 ACP is inexpensive, fun to shoot, and fun for the MRS as well.

AND it's incredible, unbelievable value for the money. Given the only complaint I have is the lightweight and almost "plasticky" feel of it, that's really not much of a complaint at all given its performance. Well, it was swimming in grease and dripping with oil out of the box, and had to literally shake it and towel it dry before loading up.

Honestly a good, honest, plain fun shooter, and probably the most outright, hands-down fun I've had at the range since...wow, outside of my .45's mentioned before, I can't think of any.

All-in-all, I'd say 9.5 to 9.75 out of 10. Only my Wilson CQBTLE and Ed Brown EE rank 10 out of the box. Go figure.
