A modern take on a Bersa classic design, the Thunder 380 Combat brings a new look to the Bersa lineup. Combining features from existing models with new ideas, the Thunder 380 Combat is the ultimate 380 carry pistol. Enhancements include a redesigned slide, providing for a lower profile, a more rounded trigger guard and smaller beaver tail for ease of carrying, drawing, and holstering, larger slide serrations and combat sights for a more rugged look, as well as ergonomically designed rubber wrap around grips with finger grooves.

Buds has done it again. The Bersa 380 is a great gun to shoot. Don't be fooled by the size. This little puppy has a big bark at a great price.

This is a great little pistol, especially for the money. It is well made and functioned perfectly with the two types of ammo I was finally able to purchase, Remington UMC 95gr MC and TulAmmo 91gr FMJ. At 15 feet my off hand groups with the UMC ammo averaged 1.5", but the TulAmmo was very erratic and yielded an average group size of 4".

The pistol points very naturally, and the sights, with the white outlined wide notch rear and white dot front, are easy to acquire and align on target. The pistol fits my hand nicely and I love the rubber grip with finger grooves. As Chris F pointed out, Bud's photo is not representative of the actual pistol in that it does not show the correct grip.

The double action trigger has a very long travel and I found I was much more accurate if I used a two stage trigger pull, i.e., take up most of the slack, realign my sights, then fire the weapon. The single action trigger pull, while not target quality, I found to be short & crisp.

My three dings, which result in my 4 star rating are: (1) I found the larger slide serrations Bersa used on this firearm uncomfortable when racking back the slide; (2) I would have preferred having the pinky extension instead of the flat based magazine (again, Bud's photo is not representative of the actual pistol); and (3) I found the safety difficult to move from safe to fire without shifting my grip on the weapon.

Nevertheless, I really like this pistol and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for something in this class of firearm

Fantastic firearm! I have put about 200 rounds downrange with this thing so far without any hiccups. It is accurate, feels great in the hand and has a good weight to it. As Rodney mentioned, this gun feels like an extension of your arm! No feeding issues or extraction issues yet.

The recoil is very manageable and I really like the modifications Bersa has made to this gun compared to the standard Thunder .380. The combat sights look great and are quick to aim and the Olive Drab rubber grips feel perfect.

NOTE: The picture of a black Thunder .380 on this website does not reflect the actual appearance of the Combat series handgun. The .380 Combat has Olive Drab colored rubber wraparound ergonomic grips, more aggressive slide serrations, combat sights, a more subtle beavertail, a modified trigger guard and no LCI.

I have shot a Bersa Thunder .380, as well as the Bersa Thunder .380CC and after shooting the Thunder Combat I can say that it is by far my favorite of the Bersa Thunder .380 series.

Feeds fine from both the Bersa 7-round magazines (with pinky ext.) and the 8-round magazines (w/o pinky ext.).

This weapon has become the favorite of both my 12 year old son and my brother. The Double Action trigger pull is long and heavy but smooth and the Single Action trigger pull is short and crisp.

After waiting 4! long days for my gun (Buds is freaking awesome that's all I can say) to arrive it's everything I hoped it would be. I bought this combat 380 site unseen based on all the positive reviews about the thunder series, Bersa and Bud's and I'm really glad I did. I bought it for my primary carry weapon and I can't put it down. It feels like an extension of my arm. Can't wait to shoot it tomorrow.
