Charter’s Pathfinder is a great introductory revolver for the novice shooter. It has the look, feel and weight of a higher-caliber revolver, allowing you to gain proficiency while using relatively inexpensive .22 ammo.

The .22 pathfinder can turn a few tin cans into an afternoon of fun.

Picked this up from my FFL just before he closed. I took a good look when I got home. Barrel was canted off to the left and the ejector rod rubbed on the barrel shroud. The cylinder release button seemed a bit wobbly. The fella that test fired it marked it down as a .22lr instead of a magnum. The gun went back. Lifetime warrenty remember? Well, got it back in about ten days. Had a note saying the barrel was adjusted and test fired, although no spent shell was sent back with it. Most of the flaws seem to be fixed except the barrel is now canted to the right now. Not gonna send it back. Someone on the assembly line must either need glasses or nips the bottle a bit too much. The cylinder has more movement than I would have lked but that's probably the "norm" for Charter Arms. I'm a bit sad about it. Too bad this American gun company cannot step up and turn out a quality product. They sure toot their horn about their amazing quality but sorry to say I have not seen it yet.
