Once again Bud`s service is speedy and top notch with the purchase of the SAR K2. The pistol is more than I hoped it would be. 14 rounds of .45 in an extremely heavy duty and rugged pistol. The single magazine it shipped with is a minus but easily remedied with the purchase of extra magazines that were made for the Para Ordnance P14 pistol. These magazines fit and function flawlessly EXCEPT they do not hold the slide back after the last round is fired from the magazine. I don`t consider that a problem and I won`t get involved in arguments as to why you don`t want your opponent to know you are out of ammo when a little counting will suffice! The finish on these pistols is remarkable for a combat/duty arm or a range gun. Bud`s scores 5 stars again.

I wanted a hi-cap .45acp absent breaking the bank. The FN model (unanimously held in hi-esteem by most experts) is $1K and it's too much to swing (IMO) for a duty-type handgun—I spend that kind of money on rifles or investment guns (personally, but that’s me). The Glock 21 is obviously a great but at about the same price as the SAR K2 with the key variable being less capacity. Long story short, since I already own a Turkish 1911 and Hatsan Escort Shotgun that both operate flawlessly and are built like tanks, I didn't hesitate to pick up this beaut after much research (I'm methodical about the 'prep-work' prior to buying anything but , in particular, something I might stake my family's life on). Immediately I cleaned her and took it to the range for 250 rounds of flawless action via 225 ball and 25 of my carry-ammo. I have become quite enamored with the Turkish engineering capability (they remind much of the same characteristics of Rock Island Armory in terms of Hi-Quality Blue Collar priced guns. So if you’re like me, get one already! As for Bud’s, I will no longer mention their outstanding service and overall ordering process as after my first several purchases I have just come to expect it (they spoiled me in that I demand the same of any company I deal with…). God Bless the USA.

First Gun I bought through Bud's. Great price and really speedy shipping. Heard a lot of great things about the pistol and have not been disappointed. I have average sized hands and the grip is fantastic. Fit and finish are really great, good adjustable sights that are low profile but very useable. I have two other .45s, a Ruger and a 1911. Accuracy is EASILY as good or better than either, weight keeps the recoil lower than either and follow up shots are a breeze. Personally am not a big fan of rails on carry guns but the one on the K2 is an example of really great machining. Disassembled it as soon as I got home and found NO machining marks anywhere. Pulled the grips and sights off, heated the gun up with a heat gun, then slathered the Frog Lube on. Have put over 500 rounds of all kinds of ammo through it in less than 4 days. Only issues I encountered were my fault, a batch of handloads that I had sitting around for forever were causing failures to feed/eject... finally remembered that I had worked up a gentle load for my Mother's old S&W 3" 625. They were intended for very close range (home defense) and low-powered to keep the recoil way down. I was amazed that the K2 worked with them at all. Out of roughly 60 rounds only 4 failures to feed. Tried them with my Ruger P89. Had a failure to feed nearly every time through 2 mags. 1911 wasn't much better. Every second or third round was either a failure to feed/extract or a stovepipe. Ran 2 mags through it. K2 just ate the rest and even man was it accurate with those loads. Took it apart again and really went over the internals... finely polished feed ramp, no machining marks, everything engaging just the way they were supposed to... only downside is that my daughter loves it and I have to fight just to get a chance to shoot my gun... oh well, hope the buying frenzy lets up soon so I can get a certain someone a K2 for their birthday... maybe I'll get mine back then.

I love the gun but apparently it no longer ships with two mags... Buds shipping was fast got it in my hands 7 days after I ordered even though it was listed as a slow shipping item. The price changes daily and even within the day. It was listed as 521 all day last week then it was 471 for a few minutes in the afternoon so I snapped it up. Very disappointing that I only received one mag. Every review everywhere on the net says it came with two mags. I got the deer in the headlights when chatting online with a Buds representative. "I'm sorry the manufacturer says it only ships with one magazine, I am not sure why the reviews say they received two."...

Gun seems identical in size weight and feel of my CZ SP-01 tactical in 9mm. Cant believe 14 rounds of 45 fit in this thin of a grip. I do not have large hands and the grip could be a lot larger and it would still feel good. I think the wife and daughter will have no issues with the grip.

Loses a star for one mag. I would not have purchased it had I known this.

Great Handgun.
Pros:
-Chromed one piece machined feed ramp/barrel assembly (no need to polish or reshape the ramp it is already at a mirror finish).
-Fits nicely in the hands (I have medium sized hands but very short fingers). Not really all that fat considering it is a double stack .45
-Well balanced because of all steel construction.
-Fit and finish is amazing, no visible machining marks.
-Comes with two magazines (I was expecting only one)
-Light recoil due to the mass
-Trigger is awesome for an out of the box pistol. No slop with a nice reset.
-I am accurate with this pistol (Note: I can not verify the accuracy of pistol since I do not have the proper bench and vice to do so)
-Standard cut threads not polygonal (a pro for me since I cast and reload my own shells)
-All steel construction (pro for me at least, not a big fan of light weight full size pistols)
-Price, it is an amazing deal compared to .45's with same capacity
-Takes down easily (just like a cz-75)
Cons:
-Magazine availability is very limited as of right now (glad it came with 2 though)
-Might spend more money on ammo since it is a pleasure to shoot.

As far as buds gun shop goes, it is a pleasure doing business with them.
