Love the FN line! Already own an FNP45 and decided to pick up the FNX-9. Took it to the range the day after I received it and put 200rds down range with not a single hiccup! Very accurate but it takes a little getting used to shooting a 9mm instead of a 45acp. Very nice piece all around and I love the fact that they come with 3 17rd mags. Took a little more time than usual for a gun to ship out to my FFL, but with all the hysteria happening, 10 days is acceptable and everything was brand new and packaged well on arrival. If you haven't considered FN, you should!

I received my gun today and I'm very pleased with it so far. Jammed a few times trying to run some cheap Tulammo through it (10 bucks for 50 rounds was worth a shot lol) cycled the Hornady critical defense rounds flawlessly though. Came with 3 mags, the springs are pretty stiff but if you have a speed loader its easy and quick. One complaint I had heard a lot prior to buying the FNX was the back strap having some wiggle room. I don't know if their guns developed this problem over time but mine is nice and snug, can't get it to wiggle even if I try. Overall great gun! Easy take down, good trigger. As a lefty the ambi controls played a big part in my decision to buy it and I'm not disappointed.

Right from the start, I have to say it; I LOVE this weapon. And trust me, I did A LOT OF research since this was going to be my first weapon. My wife is left-handed and I am right-handed. The ambidextrous control are AWESOME. Light-weight, smooth action, high-cap magazine, accurate, easy to clean, rail under the barrel for a laser. Seriously, I absolutely adore this thing. There are Glock, Sig, Beretta lovers out there, but FN is my choice and the price point can't be beat for such a beautiful handgun.

My only complaint is with FN directly. I want to buy a concealed weapon next (like the M&P Shield) and FN doesn't make one.

I ordered this gun last year from Buds, excellent service and super fast shipping. I had the gun within 3days of ordering and I immediately took it to the range with my stash of 9mm. Everything performed flawlessly right out of the box, but something just didn't feel right with it. It was nothing wrong with the gun it was accurate and reliable never one FTF or FTE or stovepipe or anything after 300 rounds, it just didn't seem to fit me. Idk what it was maybe I was in the mood for something different and I think I got a little too used to my service issued M&P .40 so I threw it in for an extra few hundred when I sold my truck, the new owners wife loves it and he does too. All in all excellent gun, good fit and finish, reliable operator, it just didn't fit me. Kinda like a Glock something just didn't match with me so I'm on to something different. Still got my Taurus 1911 though and a new Sig 229 you'd have to pry those from my cold dead hands.

Haven't got this to the range yet but I have to leave some great feedback on BudsGunshop. FNX9 was brand new in box with all contents as they should be.

Extremely fast and easy process in ordering, used preferred dealer, easy as pie. Shipment was indeed next day fast.
