Great pistol! This was my first FNH. I liked it so much that I bought a second. Actually, truth be told, my wife bought it for me for Father's Day. And she liked it so much that she kept it (but gave me "permission" to order a second). This gun feels great in the hand; it's light; points naturally; fit and finish match any comparator (M&P, XD, Glock, etc.); the trigger is crisp; the sight are large and easy to pick up... I can't say enough good things about it. We primarily purchased our FNS-9's for use in an IDPA style defensive training that we attend every week. This gun makes the course and skills training a breeze. The front sight dot is larger than the rear, making it easy to pick up. The magazine well is large, making speed reloads easy. No matter how fast as I pull the trigger, it fires without any malfunctions.

Let me start by saying I've never been a big fan of striker fired/DAO pistols. I like the crisp/light break of the SA triggers on hammer fired guns. I also prefer to have a manual safety just because it's what I'm used too, so Glocks never appealed to me. But this FN caught my eye due to the manual safety on a striker fired pistol, so I took a gamble on it. That gamble paid off big time, this pistol is phenomenal. Everything about it...the fit and finish, the grip angle, smooth action. And I have to admit, for a striker fired DAO pistol, the trigger is pretty sweet and not as heavy as expected. I took it to the range straight from my FFL dealer, didn't even give it a quick clean up or oil or anything. Fired 300 rounds without a single malfunction. Being used to light single action triggers, I figured my groups would be rough until I got used to it...nope. I was pleasantly surprised with how accurate I am with this. I've owned Sigs, Beretta's, CZ, Springfield, and more (almost all purchased from Buds), and this pistol really stacks up with some of the best that I've fired. It hasn't replaced my Beretta 92 as my favorite pistol of all time...yet. But I would carry this gun and trust my life with it.

As for Buds, they never disappoint. This is my 12th purchase form them and never an issue. This is actually the first time I've had to use Bud's customer service due to a screw up on my part. I ordered the non manual safety version of this same gun by accident. I noticed my mistake and Bud's swapped it for the one I meant to order, which has the manual safety. I will only buy my guns from Bud's, they can't be beat,

My favorite pistol... Has functioned flawlessly. Fit and finish are top notch. Because of this firearm's performance I will be purchasing an FNX in .40 or 45 for my home.
