Was recommended for the price as well as a "first time buyer". Good gun over all. Not speaking from experience, but a gun should do what it's supposed to do. Put 300 rounds through it after cleaning it and only 200 rounds through it prior to cleaning it.....jammed a half a dozen times. Maybe the cheap ammo? Still...not bad for a starter! #buyingmoreguns

This was my first purchase through Buds and the experience was great. Easy change to order, at no charge and quick shipment. Great transaction. My Hi-Point 40 S&W was perfect upon receipt. Great gun. The gun was a bit bulkier then I expected and weight was pretty heavy. However the gun fired flawlessly during more then 200 rounds. No jams or feed issues. Very easy sight adjustments, just a great all around gun. The recoil was very soft due to weight I'm sure. Very smooth operation overall and very happy with the Gun. After the range I went to clean the Gun. This is the only issue I have with this gun. It is a pain to disassemble and assemble. It will definitely take some practice. But the gun was very clean and easy to clean once apart. I would recommend this gun and am very happy with my purchase. Thanks Buds.
