This is a great price ($807) and an awesome pistol. Hard to beat for a carry piece. Understand that if you order, you will receive the new 229 with a redesigned slide (more like the old 228) and the new E2 one piece grip. The photo shows the previous design. But, it's all good. Still one of the very best 9mm pistols available.

As always, the transaction with Bud's was smooth, fast and painless.

WOW is all I can say. First, Buds was perfection to deal with, lighting fast shipping, great price, perfect product out of the box - what more can you ask for.

Now as to the Sig... WOW and WOW again! I have been methodical about my "hunt" for my conceal carry/personal protection weapon. I have been reviewing, researching, shooting, and reading for over the last year before I finally purchased, and all that work has paid off. Not to mention that many of our "alphabet soup" agencies use the Sig 229 as thier service weapon (not that I hold much weight about what they use) but hands down this Sig ROCKS. The SRT trigger system is like butter when you want to throw the lead, recoil is almost non-existant and time to reacquire the target is milliseconds. Right out of the box this gun is dead-on. I threw 200 rounds down her the first range day and she worked like a dream. This was my first Sig, but it definately wont be my last... saving now for the .45!

If you even THINK this is the gun for you, BUY IT, (and buy it here at Buds) and you wont be let down, on either part.
