vary nice product. have always like the P220 and Sig pistols. because of the current situation I have not been able to fire it. my only compliant is the magazines.
the magazines that come with the gun won't fit some of the ten millimeter ammo length wise. the 10mm 180 grain V crown sig elite performance barely fit some get hung up.
and the mags them selves you have to press in the mag release every time you want to insert the magazine.but if you use a P220 .45 caliber mag it just goes right in?.

This is the Mercedes-Maybach of handguns. Absolute classic made from real steel and not just another Tupperware crushable. This SIG/Sauer will be running long after all those striker fired bargains have disintegrated or melted. Handles like the real gun that it is and shoots the ultimate automatic pistol cartridge,10mm with ease, softness, and superb accuracy. It is really nice to be able to shoot hand loads and not worry that an unsupported chamber with pepper me with synthetic polymer particles while my hand bleeds from the blow up. Great gun in a terrific caliber that provides pride in ownership and practical utility.

It's a SIG what else needs to be said. Oh yeah in this caliber it's my favorite.

The ammo too powerful for the F.B.I. Sig tames it. The grip will melt into your hand. The SA/DA trigger is way nice and the pull on both is sweet. Strips faster than a Sig Sauer…Oh sorry, no such thing. This piece is cooler than a Star Trek Phaser. Worth the money.

I love this 10mm Sig! Accurate, pleasant to shoot due to the weight, fixed sights are more durable than the adjustable rears on most P220 10mm's. I love it!

I bought this to be used as my woods gun. It is a heavy gun and difficult to conceal buy carries nicely with a quality owb holster. Very nice fit and finish, easy to field strip, handles very well and functions great. The other guns I was considering were the Dan Wesson Rz10 and Glock 20. It didn't take long to decide against a Glock and I prefer the DA/SA trigger over the SAO. I also like the decocking lever on this model. Great gun for what it is intended for.

What's not to love about this 10mm? I own over a dozen Sigs including a few Legions but when it came to the P220-10, I wanted a double/single action variant because this wasn't going to be just a hunting handgun. I wanted one that had the same manual of arms as my other Sigs with even the option to carry if i desired. This one is close to perfect. I changed the Sig night sights to their new X-RAY sights front and back (same as installed on the Legion series) and immediately noticed how much easier and faster I picked up the front sight either indoors or outdoors. Accuracy seemed to better as a result. The grips are Hogue Piranha Marcus which both look great but also provide a sure and steady grip. The gun fits perfectly in a custom shark skin concealment hip holster that I already had for my Sig X-Five. I use premium high-powered ammunition and it cycled everything I had whether hollow-point or FMJ. I started out at 7 yards but quickly moved to 25 yards maintaining tight groups. 135gr, 155gr, 165gr, and 180gr performed extremely well but I think my best groups were with the 200gr. Double action trigger pull measured a consistent and smooth 10 pounds while the single action came in at 5 pounds. The SRT also helped accelerate repeat shots with very little finger movement. The weight feels perfectly balanced and the recoil felt much like my stanard frame P220 45ACP while even using high-power rounds. An extra bonus- the 45 ACP mags work just fine with 10mm. I had read about some issues with early Sig P220-10's requiring significant force to seat full magazines while the slide was forward however, I never experienced this issue using Sig's 10mm magazines. It was simply a pleasure to shoot and almost boring in its reliability. I waited about two years for this model to become available again. It was absolutely with it.
