P229 Scorpion TB is the newest edition to the P229 Elite and features an ergonomic beavertail grip, flat dark earth finish on both the frame and the slide, front cocking serrations, front strap checkering, SIGLITE night sights, Hogue Extreme G-10 grips, and the Short Reset Trigger or SRT and a threaded barrel. SIG engineers designed the SRT to provide you the same great safety and smooth action of the SIG DA/SA with a comfortable reset that is 60% shorter for faster trigger return and surgical control during high speed shooting. The P229 Scorpion is available in 9mm.

Sweet gun, love the SRT. I bought this one to use as a silencer host, I have another exactly like it without the threaded barrel. Both have functioned flawlessly. The finish does rub off when you carry it everyday for two years, but not as quickly as blueing. I have put about 4k rounds through one and about 500 through the other with zero problems. I love the night sights as well. Sig made a winner with this gun. Not sure if the G10 grips are worth the extra $$ over the regular grips but the finish does hold up better than the standard Nitron finish that Sig uses.
