Bud's offered a $1,000 Sig P239 Scorpion in 357 sig caliber for only $582.00! I have taken it to the range and it blew my mind how much power and accuracy tbis compact Sig had! Great deal on a great gun! The shipping was a bit frustrating because they used Fedex so it took a couple of weeks,after I paid for it to get to me.

I love the overall feel of the SIG P238 and the trigger squeeze is nice, even in DA. I have more positives than negatives but it is definitely my least favorite pistol I own. The features I hate are the slide lock is positioned in an awkward position and much more difficult to operate than any other pistol I have ever used. The decocking lever is positioned where the slide lock is traditionally located. I am re-training myself because I keep operating the decocking lever instead of releasing the slide. Just need to practice to make it more smooth, but I can't believe a firearms manufacturer chose this feature to be different on. I am getting accustomed to the pistol but still not sold on it; however, I love the 357 SIG cartridge, so this is my go to since my favorite manufacturer stopped manufacturing theirs and I am not a fan of striker fired pistols. I need to practice some high stress situations to see how magazine exchanges go with the unique location of the slide release. The Hogue grips feel nice on this pistol. If you have medium to large hands I will warn you that a rapid magazine change can result in a pinched finger on this pistol, so modifying your grip becomes critical.
