I purchased the SP2022 chambered in .357 SIG. This is an excellent pistol! It is easy to sight and acquire a target; recoil is easily managed as well. I previously owned this model and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a pistol chambered in .357 SIG.

This is an excellent handgun. You get an inexpensive Sig .357 that doubles as a .40 Cal and shoots even better than the .357 configuration. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $150.00 to obtain the Sig .40 Cal replacement barrel. You will have a lot of fun with this handgun and the barrel swap is easy. Also note that the .357 and .40 ammo load into the same magazines, so no purchasing separate caliber magazines, just make sure you load the appropriate rounds in the magazine for the barrel installed in the gun. Other than that this may be one of the best Sig values of the bunch. Oh Yeah, Buds did a great job with the transfer to my FFL.

The Sig Sauer SP2022, chambered in .357 Sig, is a smooth functioning pistol with a surprisingly light, controllable and snappy recoil, considering it is a high velocity, high pressure round for any pistol. They should have labeled it a 9mm Magnum, would probably have had a larger following within the firearms enthusiast community. It seems to have a few more ounces of weight to it when compared to a Glock or FN but, it feels solid. Nothing rattling around, nor feeling loose when handling it normally. The components fit and feel tight, seems to have tight tolerances. Although Bud's Gun Shop's advertisement listing for my particular purchase was not in detail and vague, the package that was received from Bud's Gun Shop was better than expected; a somewhat reasonable price for a hard shell plastic Sig Sauer storage case containing a Sig Sauer Pistol chambered in .357 Sig with Tritium Night Sights, a total of two ammunition magazines, a small and a large changeable hand grips, a Sig Sauer paddle holster, a small tube of lubrication fluid, the Owner's/Operator's Manual, a cable firearm lock with a set of keys, an advertisement brochure for Sig Sauer Ammunition and an advertisement brochure for Mil-Comm firearms lubricants and cleaners, all neatly packaged within the storage case. The pistol was well lubricated, however, the inside of the barrel had to be cleaned, and it seemed to function near flawlessly out of the storage case. Bud's Gun Shop smoothly integrates the F.F.L. transfer process by having a preferred F.F.L. transfer list available to out of State purchasers and the F.F.L./Owner(s) of Black Dog Sporting Goods of Evington, Virginia is highly recommended because of their affordability, courteousness, politeness and professionalism. However, it is my opinion that the Electronic Funds Transfer ACH process to obtain the cash pricing takes a little longer than usual, could be a little quicker to clear payments to Bud's. Overall, the purchasing experience was good and the products that were received was better than expected. Almost creamed my jeans.

I've had a few pros and this one was ordered to replace a high dollar 239 that was hiding in a drawer. I thought the night sites combined with the 357 powerhouse and 12 rd. mag. made for a very nice home protection piece. The sale from Buds was as smooth as usual. Also when I got it home and got ready to clean and oil it, I noticed a small scratch on the rear of the slide. Disappointing, but not worth the hassle of complaining. If I had noticed it at the FFL, I dont think I would have refused it, but still, I'm stuck with a slight defect from the factory. Otherwise, another fairly good buying experience from Buds.
