As with every NAA Mini-Revolver, the hammer need not rest on an empty chamber. Using the original half-way notch cylinder, the hammer may rest safely and securely without chance of accidental discharge.

North American Arms' .22 Magnum can be used with all popular .22 Magnum ammunition, including .22 Magnum shot shells (called Snake Shot by some manufacturers).

This is a great little pistol, bought as a gift. I have the 1 1/8 barrel mag and 22LR already, and it's surprisingly accurate. Please note, these don't come with the zippered bag shown, just the standard cheap plastic box (at least it's not cardboard). I was a little surprised that the gun was sorta dirty when it arrived... especially the cylinder. I know they test fire them, but they should give it a quick cleaning afterwards. No biggy.
The quality of the machining looks OK. As popular as these are, they maybe taking some shortcuts, for instance: the bore almost appears to be not quite centered in the barrel. It's not severe, and may be due to the way they crowned the muzzle -- it looks almost like they did it by hand.
It's no S&W. But, it's no jimenez either! the minor issues above wouldn't stop me from buying it again. Good value, great little EDC gun.

Absolutely love this mini-revolver. Have an older Mag only. Now I have the dual mag/22lr combo. Great concealed carriers. Love them both. Nice for women. Tyvm Bud.

Great price and service from Bud's. Good quality mini revolver from NAA. Fun to shoot and show, but limited to a novelty and collector piece as the ballistics and accuracy are pathetic in such a small short barreled package.

I had no problems, and found an FFL that only charged $20. The stock grips print a bit much for me, and I might keep an eye out for a cheap set to sand down thinner. Can't beat the mini revolver for reliability. 22 Mags bought at gun shows (as I did) may be old and have like a 15 percent dud rate, though. Suggest only keep new Walmart CCI 22 mags in it for concealed carry, but develop your shooting skills at the range with dirt cheap 22 LRs. With enough practice, you'll pay for the combination extra cylinder. Excellent for concealment. You can even carry it around your neck, it's so small.
