I ordered in this revolver for a customer, this is a solid well made revolver, I went through this gun checking everything out for him. It has a really nice clean "no creep" 3 &1/4 pound trigger pull, it's pretty balance for a heavy gun. I may have to order one for myself.
He also contacted me this morning, he told me that the gun is accurate right out of the box with no sight adjustment.
As a gunsmith I would would definitely recommend this gun for a purchase.

If you are a fan of powerful revolvers then you won't go wrong with this guy. Recoil was less than expected and shot like a laser. I was very impressed with this gun.

If you have not seen one, this is a LARGE revolver, although not as heavy as you would expect for its size. To be completely honest, I bought this more for the pleasure and novelty of owning it. It is a beautiful gun and impressive. But I was pleasantly surprised that for its size and power, I could shoot this accurately with one hand. The sights were good out the box, and I was hitting targets one-handed as accurately as any regular-sized revolver I own. I don't know about the larger calibers, but the 30-30 Win recoil is not bad at all. The weight makes shooting it repeatedly over a longer period of time prohibitive, but you shouldn't get tired emptying it a few times. Shell extraction is one-by-one, so it takes a while to unload and load, but for any purpose you would use this gun, it shouldn't matter. If you love revolvers, you should own one of these.

I wanted one of the BFR's & Joe's post swayed me to the 30/30.

He is right, it is a sweet shooting piece. The hammer cocks smooth & easy. I've shot 40 rounds out of it a couple times. It is smooth & recoil lighter than I expected. Really a pleasure to shoot. I have shot powerful handguns that leave your hands smarting after one shot. Was absolutely fine whole time, shooting this gun. I'm a grandfather too.

I like that the cylinder comes off, makes cleaning the gun easier.

Had groups about softball size, at 40 yards, with stock sites. Could not get sights to get me where I needed to be on target, with vertical & horizonal adjustments maxed out, was still hitting low & to the left. Didn't want to get a scope, but may have to, for this reason, giving a 4 instead of 5 rating.

Can't wait to load some 125 & 150 ballistic tips, to see how that tightens up groups, can only be better.

Got a black leather holster & blk nylon belt from Magnum Research. I think they were very good quality for the price.

This is one fine revolver. Nice and accurate. Very little recoil for a 30-30. I am shooting 150 grain JSP Remington factory ammo in it.

With the iron sights I can hit the 10 ring every time at 50 yards. I generally get the X 5 out of 10 rounds. The gun can do better than I can shoot.

I bought a 2x Leupold handgun scope and put on it. With that I can get in the 10 ring everytime at 100 yards. My 5 shot groups are less than 1" apart at 100 yards.

This is a fine gun. If you like big revolvers, you can't do better than this in my opinion. It is one sweet gun.

I bought a box of 125 grain reduced recoil ammo for it so my 12 year old grandson could shoot it. He loves it and has no problem shooting 50 rounds through it. I can't keep it away from him.

I highly recommend this revolver for anyone that loves the big, loud revolvers that are accurate enough to hunt with if you're good enough for the gun.

Try one. You will not regret it. You will definitely be surprised at how good a gun this is for the price you paid.
