Fantastic little pocket pistol. This is my second purchase of the same one, but this time without the manual thumb safety. I don’t miss the safety on my other one, but would probably get one with the safety if I ordered another. Shoots nice and doesn’t have any issues with jamming. Only complaint is the trigger is quite a bit hard to pull. Would love to see them with a lighter pull.

S&W quality. Small of course. No issues. Good boot gun.

First off love shopping with buds gun shop. Best deals and pretty much all my gun buys are through buds.
Ok so this little gun surprised me how accurate and easy it was to shoot. As soon as I got it took it home cleaned and lubed it. Went out and put 200 rds through it not one issue so I trust this gun now fully. The only downfall i think is how far back you have to squeeze trigger basically you have to squeeze it all the way to the frame before it fires. Also I have big hands but the pinky extension doesntbdo anything for me i still have my pinky not able to grip.Other wise the take down of this little gun is a great little backup gun. Would recommend if your wanting a pocket carry or backup.

This is my first .380 but not my first purchase from Bud's. As usual, Bud's service was perfect, the weapon arrived in perfect shape, all listed accessories and documentation included. The Smith & Wesson Bodyguard is amazingly compact and light. It arrived a little dry so a clean and lube and was all that was needed. A trip to the range and 150 rounds of mixed ammo shot from 7 and 15 yards with 2 failure to feeds. Both failures were from Sig "premium" ball ammo. I cycled between Magtech, PMC and Sig, alternating 2 mags of each brand. The 2 ftf's were only the sig ammo. Other than that the gun ran flawlessly. I also ran 2 mags of Speer Gold Dot JHP through with no failures of any kind and impressive (for me) accuracy. It is a long trigger pull and at first seemed awkward but I'm happy with the performance. I definitely had some flinch issues but that's on me,not the gun. Groups were 2-3 inches either two hand or single, strong or weak side. In my opinion it's an excellent ccw piece and concealment will be easy and comfortable. Thanks to Bud's for the service and the price.

Everything I expected. Shoots as a tiny .380 should and gives me peace of mind as a BUG. Field re-assemble can be a bit cumbersome given the removable take-down pin but I am OK with that given how deep I can conceal it. I am usually one to upgrade the components of a piece as soon as I get it and this one will be no exception given the 3 day and a fortnight trigger travel and the lack of distiguishable-sights (factory black rear and front black ramp). Despite S&W passing on costs to the consumer, I am happy with this weapon and will continue to be a loyal S&W buyer.

Outstanding service from Bud's. Fast shipping and handy tracking. As for the Bodyguard, I am happy with it overall but feel it MIGHT have been a returned firearm. I say this because when I field stripped for my initial care before the first range trip, I found several metal scrapes that only became more pronounced after the first range trip and 200 rounds. Did that cause any malfunctions? No, but I did purchase a new handgun and expect it to be new. Could it have happened with the test fire? Sure but it seemed excessive. I must dispel some internet ideas about this gun. It is NOT the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard. For one, the guide rod is metal and, according to my searches, the originals were plastic. The spring is a double spring, also. Yes it does have a long pull that is heavier than my other semi-autos but I did not notice it as much as I anticipated. At my initial range visit, I placed 80% of my rounds within 6" at 10 yards. That suits me just fine as I know with practice, that will improve. It does have two magazines, also. One other item of note, may of my internet searches showed how difficult it was reassembling the Smith and Wesson Bodyguard. I did not find this the case with mine and disassembly wasn't as difficult, either. As for ammo, it ate the varied of factory new and factory reloads I tossed into the magazines. Yes, I did experience light striker fire that is common with 380s but only 2 did not fire after a second strike. One took three and the last did not fire after repeated attempts. Would I buy again? Yes, yes, yes. This is a perfect pocket pistol for my needs. Happy with the purchased, overall.

Front sight was drifted far right out, of the box. Shoots dead on though. Great gun for pocket carry.
