I own an M&P sheild in .45 so I bought the .22. Fit and finish were great. It is a bit bigger than I had previously thought. Its almost identical in size to the. 45 just having a smaller slide. For the money I thought it was a great buy. It shoots well easy to handle.

I bought this .22 because I have the 380 version and it feels great in my hand and it functions well. I wanted the .22 because it is cheaper to practice with. During my first outing I had several hang fires. I was using standard ammo-though the cheaper stuff- but this concerned me. I called S&W and explained what happened, and they told my hang fires on rim fire guns are not uncommon. They suggested different ammo and more break in time. I used it later with different ammo, and it did not hang fire. I like the gun-it is cheap to use and feels just like my .380. Overall, a good purchase. Thank you Bud's

Very happy with the purchase of the .22 Lr pistol. Very fun to shoot. Very smooth and no misfires. I have big hands and the MP 22 fits nicely in my hands. I would purchase this gun again. The big plus with the MP 22 is you can shoot this pistol much cheaper than a 9mm or 45 in the MP models. I would recommend this pistol to friends and family.
