When I look at the accessories available the offer is for two different 8 round magazines. Will they fit this gun?

The Officers and Compact magazines will fit flush. The Full size 8rd magazines will extend 3/8" below the mag-well but will function. I think the 8rd full size magazines are not listed in the proper category for the Ultra Carry II. This Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry II is a great compact 1911 in .45 ACP for self-defense. It offers all of the American manufacturing, accuracy and reliability that you have come to love from Kimber. This Stainless Ultra Carry has a full-length guide rod, is just 6.8 inches in length and has a 3 hole standard aluminum trigger factory set at 4.0 - 5.0 lbs.

I am very pleased with my Kimber Stainless Steel Ultra Carry II, this is my second Kimber and it's everything I had expected it to be. Although I had failure to feed issues initially, a call to Kimber had a new slide release on the way immediately and it is working flawlessly. This firearm carries very well and conceals nicely, and is very accurate, it's a quality piece.
