Obtaining the greatest accuracy for target shooting was the main reason
for the development of the GLOCK 34 which has an extended barrel,
greater slide dimensions, and unmatched reliability in a 9x19mm pistol.
This highly accurate pistol has found widespread use as a competitive
pistol for USPSA, IDPA, IPSC, GSSF and other sport shooting
organizations.

Typical Glock quality. Would benefit from better sights but that's just normal Glock.

I mean it's a Glock, it works most of the time, but with the Gen 3 I did have some ejection/extraction issues, you'll need to spend a bit in fixing those so keep that in mind, if you can go for the Gen4 or Gen5 do it.

3/23/21. Glock 34, Gen 3. Well my first impression I was skeptical of all the plastic and polymer such as main frame, adjustable rear sight, recoil spring plastic rod and plastic/polymer coated magazines. However in about 6-weeks I’ve shot 1200 rounds of 115gr round nose, P 9mm jacketed bullets and the only issue was two rounds that failed to fire which is not a G34 issue. A few turns with the included tool on the adjustable sight and the pistol has been accurate at 25yds. Pretty amazing. The slide release is a pain until you get accustomed the releases operation and short lever. After all the rounds there is no sign of wear on the barrel finish or the slide and the 3-pins that the hold the pistol locking block, trigger and trigger housing are still snug. I have disassembled the pistol completely, except for removing the plastic channel liner and mag release and this one of the simplest semiauto I’ve worked on. The mags have worked flawlessly. I clean and light oil about every 200 rounds. I don’t think you can go wrong with this pistol. Personally I see not reason to do any mods to this gun for the every day shooter for completion maybe a trigger job and the sights.

I bought this pistol since I wanted a full size Glock in 9mm for practice/training/competition. I had found that I was usually carrying a Glock but was usually training and competing with a 1911 so bought this to allow a closer crossover between my carry and target guns, also going to a 9mm over 45ACP would lower my practice costs meaningfully.
The gun showed up on time, was reasonably priced at $50 over the 17/19 duty Glocks which seemed a great deal for adjustable sights and a longer slide/barrel. The gun has been quite reliable and reasonably accurate. At this point I have put about 300 rounds through it over a couple of sessions and have had 4 jams and no misfires. Of the jams, one seemed to be a gun based failure to feed around round 100. One of the included magazines is very tight on the 10th round and I had loaded this mag, plus one in the chamber and the drag of the magazine on an almost new gun caused a failure to fully eject on the first round. The other three malfunctions were with a reload that has bullets seated long for increased accuracy in a different gun with a really long throat and the bullet hit the rifling in the Glock and stopped the slide before it was in battery, this is not a gun issue and is easily remedied by racking the slide.
The gun shoots slightly high for me even with the sights adjusted all the way down but it works out fine for a 6 o-clock hold on a 4" round and could be adjusted for any larger size bull desired. The trigger is typical Glock mush, a bit lighter than most due to the 3.5# connector. Accuracy out of the box was acceptable but not great, 3-4" at 25yd but has gotten better over the few hundred rounds and is now running about 2.5" with cheap ammo, so not 1911 bullseye accuracy but decent for the price paid. One thing nice is that for the price paid compared to a 1911 pattern gun I can put some $ towards sights and a match barrel if desired and still be less than the 1911 while filling my desire to have a target pistol with the operating system of my carry guns. It is thin and light enough I would consider carrying it concealed if I was wearing something that covered slide length well, though there are better choices for concealment. Overall I am quite satisfied with my purchase and am looking forward to putting many thousands of rounds through this gun over the coming years.

A:Stephen, yes Sir it will no issue. Most manufacturers including Glock make firearm packages that have 10rd magazines so their pistols can also be sold in states that have magazine capacity restrictions. The pistols are exactly the same but just have 10rd mags included. The pistols will also accept any standard capacity magazines just fine.See 3 more answers | -
