New In Box RUGER P Series Pistols.

Each metal frame P Series pistol is made of hard-coated A356T aircraft-
quality aluminum alloy; Rugers proprietary Terhune Anticorro stainless
steel (chrome-molybdenum steel in blued models); nearly indestructible
resin grip panels; custom, compounded polymer frames of the P95 andP97;
and long-strand fiberglass filler that is a natural shock absorber.
P Series pistols easily field strip for cleaning, without the use of
special tools, into five major subassemblies. Ruger offers several
ambidextrous variations on the proven P Series double-action
design.Operating features:
All centerfire models include a firing pin block that prevents firing
unless the trigger is completely pulled and held fully back.Manual
Safety models incorporate a manual ambidextrous lever that, when
engaged, prevents firing unless the lever is in the "fire"position.
Decock-Only models allow safe return to their "at rest" mode when
either ambidextrous decocking lever is depressed. After decocking, the
gun can be fired by a double-action pull of the trigger without further
manipulation of the decocking lever.
Double-Action-Only models have no external safety, full-cock hammer
position, or decocking lever. As with all P Series pistols, this model
features a firing pin block safety, which engages only when the trigger
is fully depressed. Similar in operation to a double-actionrevolver,
operation is "double-action only" for each shot, requiring along pull
of the trigger to cock the hammer and fire the pistol.

my buddy just bought the p95dc from a friend. I wasnt to sure abought the grip at first, but we just put a few rounds threw it and it was great. I was afraid it would try to shift around in my hand but it felt really good. overall the gun is definatly worth the money in my mind. im a 45 fan myself, but after firing this 9mm i might have to change my mind about that. I have big hands and it felt perfect. it quite light for a full size gun, and the sights work really good. overall its a great buy.

I've had two of them, both with the decocker. Picked the first one up in 1999 (blued) for $289 and the second one (stainless slide) in 2007 for $299. Both new in the box and on sale. Each ran through various types of ammo including ball and hollow point (over a thousand rounds total between the two). The only thing they didn't like was Wolf steel-cased 115 gr. FMJ. Everything else fed and ejected well. Sights were easy to see and it fit my smaller hands well. Like every other DA/SA pistol the long stroke of the DA took a little getting use to, but as we all know you need to practice with whatever you plan to shoot to get comfortable with it. While it may not have the accuracy of an HK P30 or the style of a 1911. At those prices it was hard to beat which made it an excellent pistol for the money.
