bought this for my wife for self defense great fit for her small hands and easy dependable to use. She still doesn’t like firearms but she practices enough to be lethal if necessary. Great workmanship and I love the wood inserts in the rubber grips! Flawless accuracy and love the sights. Beautiful gun I think revolvers and lever action rifles are the pin-up gals of the gun world! As always Buds was flawless also.

Purchased this Ruger SP 101 in .327 Federal Magnum with the 4.2 inch barrel approximately 2 weeks ago. I finely got a chance to break it in yesterday target shooting with two friends in the desert outside of Tucson Az. We also had a Ruger Security six in .357 Magnum and a Taurus Judge in.45 Colt. We fired approximately 75 rounds through each of the handguns. I was very pleased with the SP it’s recoil was less than the.357 but more than the .45 colt. I found the action to be tight in both single and double action. This loosened up considerably after 50-60 rounds and better yet after cleaning the revolver and dry firing it numerous times. I found the Sp to be quite accurate with the American Eagle 85 grain ammo putting 5 of 6 rounds inside a 4 inch circle at 25 yards near the end of our session. I was impressed with the power of the ammunition and am eager to try the 100 grain American Eagle ammo. I think this will make a wonderful trail gun. The size and weight are perfect though I will likely spring for the Hogue grips as I find the standard ones a bit small for my hand. All in all, a fine, well made, handgun.

A nice carry gun, the inside frame machine work was very rough and had to be polished. Very accurate.

I bought one a few months back. It came within a week no problems as usual with Bud`s. It is a beauty! The high viz sights make target aquisition easy as pie. They must have adjusted the rear sight at the factory because both my wife and I were dead on the bullseye at 10 yards. I wouldn't object to the grips being an inch longer but they fit my wife's small hands perfectly. The walnut inserts are beautiful. I dropped a Wolff 10lb. hammer spring in (no light primer strikes). It shoots 327 federal and 32 h&r equally well. The 327 100 grn. are sticky to eject due to being loaded so hot and the brass swelling. No fault of the gun. My 32 h&r handloads drop right out. All in all a 1st class revolver and a beauty to shoot and look at. Ruger hit a homerun with this one. Thanks Buds alway a pleasure to do business with.

This gun was an unknown item to me when I purchased it. My first firing was .32 long Remington.98 gr. I was Severely disappointed, 12 shots, 4" low consistently. Wrote a blistering review I asked Buds to withdraw which they graciously did. I felt I contacted Ruger, should be enough. Ruger service is simply top notch, very helpful no predisposition. I felt I had to adjust the sights 16 clicks to get on target, 2 clicks and I maxed out the rear sight was loose. Short story, I tried again firing American Eagle .327 fed purchased from Buds. Three sets of 6, my last scored 55 at 30 yards free hand. Not only are .327 mags hot, this gun was far more capable than I. Gripes? Short distance between heel and trigger, heavier pull than I like attributing to a lone flyer. She's deadly as they come.

Received sp101 quickly and purchase was very satisfactory. The sp101 in 327 is a sweet combo as the size, weight and ability to chamber several types of 32 caliber ammo and reloads make a versatile package. This is my 16 year old granddaughter's favorite revolver. She shoots mostly 32 s&w long reloads (100 lswc at 800 FPS). Federal factory 327 magnum chronographs 1450 FPS with very manageable recoil but loud. My sp101 came with 12 pound double action and 5 pound single action trigger pull but Wilson spring kit reduced DA to 8 pounds and SA 3.25 pounds. SP 101 is well made and easy to maintain. Factory grips are very comfortable but if you have large hands, may be too small. This is my second 327 and has become a favorite caliber to shoot and reload ammo for.

Wanted a nice small revolver for range use with lite target and plinking loads. This revolver in 327 is perfect. I cast my own bullets so needed a smaller caliber to save my lead supply..The trigger was a little heavy but new springs took care of that. Very nice adjustable sights that I removed and mounted a red dot sight. Over all very pleased...

Waited patiently for this gun and cartridge combo to become available and jumped on it as soon as I saw it was in stock. Not disappointed, the SP frame size and .327 FED are made for each other ! Six shots of a stout .327 or a target range gun with .32 SW Long wadcutters. I love this gun !!

Nice carry gun and I love the .327 Federal as it is lighter recoil and packs a better punch than a .357 magnum with a lighter recoil. The grips are too small for my large hand so I am changing to a suitable size and this is no biggie. The action is a bit heavy for me, so I am doing the usual action job as on all of my revolvers. Good fit and finish.

Hi Joe and welcome. Unfortunately, when neither Notification nor last listed Price, they don't anticipate getting that firearm back in stock. I would search Gun(6)roker - just replace the (9) with g ---- https://www.(9)unbroker.com/All/search?Keywords=Ruger%20SP101%20Stainless%20327&Sort=13 : Another good website is -- gunsinternational.com/ - Cheers and stay safe!
