It's a nice little compact that fits comfortably in your hand even if you have big hands, but there are some problems.
1) The trigger pull is LOOOONNNNGGG. Like weirdly long for such a small frame.
2) It kicks like a mule, which is not something I expect from a 9mm (my Springfield XDM .40 kicks about the same, if not less).
3) The Viridian laser apparently doesn't turn off when holstered as advertised. The gun comes win one ECR holster that is made with magnets that are supposed to turn the laser off to save batteries, and when you draw the weapon, the laser comes back on. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell if the light is off once you holster it, but based on the fact that this thing just eats the (special) batteries up, I'm guessing that it doesn't turn off when holstered.
4) the laser doesn't seem to want to stay sighted in. I guess that the day-to-day jostling of carrying this gun just knocks the laser off-target, but that's not very reassuring if I need to use it.
I think I'll get rid of this and pick up something different for my hot-weather carry pistol. Just too many problems for me to think that this will be a reliable form of defense, should the need arise.
