I see this is 6 shot...does that mean it is pre-2007 manufacture and is NOS?

Hi, This is not a new model. It is about a 5 year old model. It was manufacture around 2014 - 2015. For more information, I recommend checking with Ruger customer service or Buds representative about this particular model. I hope this helps.

I heard that the 6 shot models were discontinued because cylinder jamming issues. Is this one updated or still the one that can break?

I’m really enjoying this revolver and looking forward to using it for a hog hunt this fall. It’s to bad the 480 Ruger never gained more popularity because it’s more powerful than a 44 Magnum with not much more recoil. I’m loading up 385 grain LFN Bullets to around 1100 fps with amazing accuracy.

This is a new Stainless Steel one. The one I got was not Target Grey. This is okay with me though. Buds came through with fast shipping!!! Thanks
