buds as always was fast with the shipping. Gun was great reminded me of my dads Beretta bobcat I believe. Took it to the range shot 100-150 rounds no issues. Small little gun but feels fine in the hand with the wide grip. Front site is great nice little post can shoot very accurate. Thanks Buds

These are fun guns to shoot. I had owned one for a while, but sold it a few years ago, and have missed it since then. I decided to buy one again. The gun I got is really pretty nice in terms of the finish, maybe not as polished and refined as a more expensive gun, but I already knew what to expect, and I'm not disappointed. The wood grips look great, they're one of my favorite parts of the gun.

One thing I knew from before is that these guns are finicky about ammo, especially for the first 100-150 rounds. The first 5 mags or so were met with several FTF's with ammo nose-diving into the end of the barrel. I also forgot to avoid hollow-point early on. After switching to round nose and pushing through the issues, things started to smooth out. My last 6 mags were 100%, no failures of any kind. After settling in, I found it to be as fun to shoot as I remembered.

I wouldn't hesitate recommending this gun. It's not ideal for a defensive gun, though it may be a good option for people with weak hands or recoil sensitivity. Other than that, it's just a nice looking, inexpensive and fun gun to shoot. Just remember to give it time to break in. 4 stars since it's not quite ready to go right out of the box.

Was not happy with this gun, it was just a starter pistol for my wife and even though I didn't have great expectations it still let me down. Not one clip would make it empty without the gun jammimg. Delaing with Buds was and always is a great pleasure though...

Buds was fantastic!! Thanks. Now, the weapon review: Owned it now for 3 years. The quality of craftsmanship is relatively low. Once disassembled, it's easy to see the tool markings in the metal. It's not a high-polished piece for sure. Finish is not great-not uniform but a little blotchy in places. Function: lots of misfires which renders it completely worthless as a carry weapon. Misfires seem to not matter which ammo is used. It likes CCI mini-mags best. It will stove pipe unless you not allow it to recoil, then it will mostly not stovepipe. One of the grips always works itself loose after firing 20 rounds or so. The barrel latch broke after a year, had to mail it to Taurus to repair. The fixed it but mistakenly kept the magazine so I'm down to one mag. Shipping costs a lot to mail a pistol by the way! Overall: a very poor 22LR pistol, I wouldn't recommend it. It's not accurate enough for marksmanship and not reliable enough to carry.
