Received my Kahr P40 about a month ago. Been to the range with it twice. Shot the customary 200 rounds to break it in without a single misfire. P40 is right on target with close groups. I carried a Kel-Tec PF-9 prior and the Kahr P40 is about the same size. Bought it because it has a 3.6 inch barrel as opposed to the Kel-Tec 3.1 inch without any significant increase in size. I may have bought the PM40 if I had it to do over with again; it has the 3.1 inch barrel and is considerably shorter and easier to carry. I paid the extra for the polygonal barrel and I'm not at all disappointed with it's accuracy. Fine but expensive pistol. This is my opinion after a months ownership and a couple hundred rounds. You feel a lot less of the recoil than with my Taurus 709 or the Kel-Tec PF-9. Although Kahr is serious about chambering from a locked back slide; that is a must. That means to be really ready you have to carry it with the shell chambered; not too bad of a deal considering it DA only. Smooth trigger; nice gun.

Very much dislike gun. When the gun came in, all I did is give it the look over. The mags have to be smacked in and very hard to eject. It just goes to show check every single gun thouroughly when having a gun sent, I got too excited. Going with a Sig or SW Shield 40.
