I wanted to love this pistol, but I do not. Unlike my PM45 which has been 100% reliable, this TP45 had 7 fail to fire during 300 rounds of Winchester 230 grain ball, all from too weak primer strikes. I also had a magazine unseat 3 times during the same 300 rounds. The gun appears well made, with excellent fit and finish, and is also very accurate. However, 10 malfunctions in 300 rounds is below my personal reliability threshold, and I cannot trust it for a defensive pistol. It is fun to shoot, and would make a fine handgun for plinking, but there are better choices for a full size combat pistol. Buds deserves 5 stars for price and service.

This is a great pistol & another great deal from Bud's...this Kahr joins my PM40 and CW40, which have also been excellent handguns. For a "big" Kahr, it's still a relatively small handgun...similar to a Colt Commander, but thinner and lighter. If you like DAO pistols, I recommend getting one of these, not to mention it's a high quality .45 ACP for 400 bucks and change...thanks, Bud's!

This pistol is a bargain at the current price. Slim, light, well balanced commander size .45 ACP that has minimal recoil. I am impressed with the accuracy of this pistol, like the sights and I think you get a high quality .45 for very little money.

Went to the range today. I was impressed with this pistol. It is the first Kahr I have owned and will be one of my carry guns. This is my second gun from Bud's and service is great, price is great, product is great. No complaints.

I was very pleased with my purchase. This was my second pistol from Bud's and everything went perfect. I was worried about the recoil but it was very pleasant, Came with two mags. I would recommend this gun to anyone looking for a .45 ACP. It is not as concealable as my Kahr P9 but hey, it's a full size .45. The trigger is very smooth and Kahr quality. You will not be disappointed with this pistol.
