Well what can I say. I was duped by the nice price tag for a 1911. I should have known better. I do now. I'm not sure the 3" 1911's have all the kinks worked out of them yet. This one definitely did not. The worst I have ever owned. Between the FTF's and the and the poor quality in craftsmanship I just gave up. My Slim Hawg needed just too much bench work to keep her. I traded it in for a Ruger SR1911.

On the other hand I emailed Para USA about the FTF's and chipped grip pannels. Customer service was very helpful. With in 3 days I had, free of charge, a new extractor and a new set of wood grips. The "Power extractor" is a POS!

IMO this might be a $400 3" 1911
or maybe I just got a lemon!

pure junk. first ftf's then new extractor ,then magazine broke, the recoil spring plug shattered in pieces. i have alot of 1911's nighthawk, wilson, trp. buy any mini 1911 but this one. buds is a plus at least 30 guns bought between me and my wife from them. shoulda stayed away from this one i heard paras are junk but 569.00 price enticed me.

I had great hopes when I ordered this pistol. Buyers remorse. I shot 200 rounds through the pistol this weekend and started having issues right away. With both magazines I would have a fail to chamber and the unfired bullet would stove pipe vertically in the ejection port. I just ejected the round and kept going. Around 100 rounds one of the magazines stopped locking back the slide. By the time I was finished, both magazines were not locking back the slide. I will be calling Para tomorrow.

Great fit and finish. Came with 2 mags... Nice!

The size is large enough to get a full grip on it and it conceals well, although it won't fit in your front pocket like a Kel-Tec Pf-9 will. The Fiber optic front blade is nice and visible. I would like to get some good night sights though.

At the range, accuracy proved awesome. My 1911 7 and 8 round mags worked great in it. I did have a couple of FTEs with reloads, but that could be because they are light loads shot during the break-in period. Factory ammo worked flawlessly.

Recoil is not bad at all, although she does bark like a big dog. (The Pf-9 this is replacing has a sharper report and recoil.) Again, amazing accuracy given the short little barrel.

This is my second Para single action and won't be my last.

I like this gun alot and for the price it is an excellent choice. Very smooth both trigger and slide. Mags are very tight to install on mine. They get about half way in then take some extra bumping to get past what I think is the release button but this may loosen up over time. And who cares anyways I not that picky. Very accurate gun and shooting it is fun. No problems eating anything I've put into it yet. I have 2 gi experts also and this is a far better gun than them both in fit and finish. Of the 3 para's I own, they have all arrived very dirty so if your the type of person that crys about having to clean dirty guns when you recieve them, dont clean it and just go shoot it. Thats what I have done with all mine and they work fine. It had some small scratches on it when I got it but who cares. I shoot my guns not make love to them, well at least not the ones with only 3" barrels.
