The .22 rimfire handgun will never look the same. Walther adapted the tactical styling and Performance Design concepts from our centerfire handguns and applied them to the .22 L.R. This created a new movement in the design of contemporary rimfire handguns ...and an explosion of imitators. As a stylish, fun gun to own, the P22 is at home on the shooting range, around the camp or in a museum of modern art. Also available in California compliant models.

Good rimfire target practice firearm, especially for our grandkids to get accustomed.

The jury's still out on this Walther P22. I purchased mainly because of price coupled with a well respected manufacturer. Experienced repeated ammo jams - Unsure if it's the ammo, break in period, or reduced quality commensurate with price. When it works, it's a fun target pistol - Not sure it'd be my only firearm on a hike though.

Bought this gun for my wife to practice with. She took her CCW with one of these I have had for 15 years and wanted it, but I refused and bought this one. Love this gun, just flawless like my old one. We could match the price locally for a plain black one, but only Buds had the military green color that she wanted. Buds processing and shippiing was excellant. This is our 4th gun from Buds over about 5 years and always quick service and zero problems. Recommend this gun and Buds to everyone. We had zero issues with fail to load or eject and acuracy is great.

I shot about 325 rounds of Remington target load out of the P22 with an Thompson machine suppressor. The first several hundred rounds shot without incident but once it started getting dirty I had multiple Mis-fires and failure to ejects. I am sure it is due to the cleanliness of the rounds but other than that the gun shot true and for the price I would by another. The wrench that comes with it for the barrel tips is also weak and bent the first use.

Ordered one of these just over a week ago. Buds shipped fast and got to bring the little pistol home tonight. Great feeling and looking little gun. I was impressed it came with 2 mags, hard case and the different grips for different sizes. I haven't shot it yet so I'll update this but if the gun shoots as good as it looks and feels I'll be happy. Great buy every gun store around me wants over $300 for these so the price is unbeatable.

Took the pistol to the range yesterday and was pleasantly surprised, even though it was smaller than I imagined it shot very well and it felt good in my hand and I had no problems going from shooting a 9mm pistol to the Walther P22. It fired a variety of shells with no hang ups good gun

I bought this pistol from Bud's not long ago. I want to say first, that Bud's was very quick, and I received the gun at the store where I had it shipped in a very short time. As always, Bud's shipping was reliable. I am sorry to say that this pistol is not as reliable. I'll start by saying that it is a very good pistol to feel in the hand. The three dot sights were good and easy to adjust. The problem was this: I took the gun to the range for the second time along with a friend who bought a Ruger SR22 that day. We both had several brands of 22LR ammo. Federal from Walmart, some cheap American Eagle, and also some CCI Stingers, Velocitors, and Mini Mags. His Ruger would shoot all of the ammo we took to the range and never failed once. The Walther would not fire the Federal or the American Eagle reliably at all, in two days of going to the range, and also after cleaning the gun completely. It would fire the CCI ammo with no problem. I went to a local gun shop the next day, after only having the Walther for two or three days, and traded it in on an SR22. The safety on the Walther was not comfortable, and was awkward to access with my thumb. It is perfect on the SR22. The main reason I would not recommend this gun is because it is too picky on what ammo it will fire reliably. So, if you are not planning on firing CCI ammo exclusively, I wouldn't recommend this gun. I think the higher velocity ammon is better for this gun, but I want a 22 that will fire any 22LR ammo reliably.
