ower_and_the_Click_Test.html If I had known about this when i got the gun I might have sent it back and tried for another one. The way I found out about it was that after i got home i was testing the safety by pulling the trigger of the gun (yes safety checked) with the safety on and the trigger moved back a bit but the hammer did not drop so I figured it was ok. Then I took the safety off and the hammer dropped to half cock. And this happened every time i pulled back on the trigger while the safety was on. After I found the article I linked above I checked for the specific issue. Hammer back, safety on, pull trigger (which moves a bit ) and you can see the top of the sear pop up past the curve of the base of the hammer. Pull the hammer back at that point and it clicks into full sear engagement like it should have still been. Take off the safety without pulling the hammer back and the hammer drops to half cock. So it looks like I need a new sear, sear pin and maybe safety and safety spring to get this thing up to 100%. It is fine for the range but not so much for carry or loaning to anyone else. Still, I have wanted one of these since I was a kid and otherwise it works great. plus I get to build some gunsmith chops by trying to fix it. Overall pretty good and I got it as fast as I have gotten anything from Buds.
