The Close Quarters Battle Elite blows the Competition away with a standard package of custom features designed to meet the needs of tactical shooting professionals, each selected with the input of experts in the field. Featuring serrations on the top and the rear of the slide, a U-notch pyramid rear sight with back -side serrations and subdued yellow tritium inserts, the back of the extractor has matching serrations, the front sight has a bright green tritium insert, checkered mainspring housing and front strap for a sure grip, G10 grips with a tapered cut-out for easy access to the semi-extended magazine release button, and all of these are standard equipment. And it has an Armor-Tuff Finish.

If you ever wondered what the difference was between a Wilson Combat and a production 1911 like a Kimber or Springfield, all you need to do is shoot a Wilson Combat. CQB Elite is exceptional. Slide feels like it is running on ball bearing and the new ETM mags can handle just about any type of round you can load in to it. I used reload, WWB, Remington UMC, Golden Sabers, MAGTech in a recent trip to the range and all fed and ejected without incident. Trigger is exceptional. Ever so slight take up and the trigger breaks like glass at 3 1/2 lbs. Point of aim is point of impact. Accuracy is exceptional, cut the 10 ring out of the target at 25 yards. Probably could have shot out to 50 yds but can't see as far as this pistol is capable of shooting. Fit and finish is what you would expect of a custom 1911 and this CQB Elite doesn't disappoint. Checkering looks good and is functional. Purchase on the grip frame was solid and didn't feel like you were holding a cheese grader. You cannot lose with the Wilson Combat CQB Elite.
