Just my personal opinion Misti, NO. This pistol falls in the category of the Jennings/Bryco pistols. They are cheap and cheaply made, I would not recommend this to anyone looking to defend their life. There are much more reliable and safe inexpensive pistols out there. The Taurus PT-111 G2 can be found for slightly over $200.

they are not very good but they are better than a sharp stick I would look at the Ruger lcp around $169.00 budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/54585/Ruger+LCP+3701+6%2B1+380ACP+2.75
