An AMAZING Gun. An absolute tank. Accurate, smoothe, crisp trigger, and no malfunctions in over 500 rounds. Better performer for me than my Glocks. Durable, dependable and fun. I bet my life with RIA 1911s every day. Best value out there

First order from buds. Ordered on a Saturday before Memorial Day and received the 1911 on Thursday. Great service! Transaction was as smooth as can be.

As far as the 1911, I was a little skeptical of buying an RIA and really contemplated Layin the extra $300 for a colt. But I am a happy camper now, this 1911 shoots just as well as my buddy's Colt. Put about 150 cheap range rounds, and 20 Barnes Tac-XPD 115 gr steel rounds with no FTFs. First 9 rounds were a little low and left (probably my fault) but after that, this thing shot like a champ!! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a classic style 1911. You can't beat the quality/price.

Received my Rock Island 9mm from Bud's and it was coated in oil in a plastic bag. Not a problem to clean and oil properly. Range tested and only fired a few mags of Federal and Tulammo. Very soft recoil. shoots a little below POA with this ammo, (115 gr.) Had one issue where the slide locked open with a round still in mag. Mag may need to be broken in. Will definitely shoot more because it is FUN to shoot. All in all I am very pleased with this pistol.

Purchased gun from Buds on Tuesday it was in my hands by Friday. Great service. The gun was extremely, extremely oily when delivered. As a matter of fact the plastic bag must have had a least four tablespoons full of oil at the bottom of the bag. I decided to take it to the range in the oily state and see what happens. I shot 500 rounds of ball ammo thru the gun with absolutely no issue. I was amazed at how soft shooting and accurate the gun was. Took me about an hour to clean up the gun and get the oil off. I would highly recommend this gun, its a great purchase.

Great gun... shot about 200 rounds of cheap 9 mm and some mixed, did not have a single problem. accuracy is good, low recoil (lack of practice and windy out) would recomend to any looking for a 9mm 1911 the only thing to the negative is the safety is a little hard to set, overall great gun.
