Diamondback Firearms is proud to present the DB380. A micro-compact .380 automatic pistol made entirely in the USA. Designed with safety in mind, the DB380 features a "ZERO-Energy" striker firing system with a mechanical firing pin block, a steel magazine catch to secure a sheet metal magazine and real windage-adjustable sights, all in a lightweight pistol.

A steel trigger with dual connecting bars allows for a crisp smooth, trigger pull. The DB380 features a FEA (Finite Element Analysis) designed slide and barrel that is stronger than any comparable firearm, resulting in durability with less felt recoil, and the absence of removable pins or tools makes field stripping easier than ever. The slide, barrel, and internal parts are coated to resist corrosion, making this pistol a lifetime investment.

Got one of these when they were on sale for $200. It's a Gen II, despite the face that the picture is for a Gen I, so that was a nice bonus. The pistol comes in a very nice hard plastic case, almost in the same league as an XDM. It only comes with one mag, but does include flush and extended base plates. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there.
Simply put, this gun is a jam-o-matic. Disassembled, cleaned and lubed before I took it to the range. loaded it up with some high dollar HP since that is the kind of stuff I would be carrying it with. First shot was fine, it jammed on the second round. Tried to finish the magazine, but it continued to jam after every other round or so. These were all Failure to Feed issues. The spent cartridge would eject just fine, but the fresh round would somehow jam into the feeding chamber at an almost 90 degree angle with the nose pointing straight up into the locking block. I have never seen a handgun fail quite like this before. I was not ready to give up on it just then, so I switched to some standard FMJ rounds. It seemed to fare better at first, but then once again jammed after two or three rounds. Once again, it was a failure to feed, spent cartridges ejected just fine. This time, instead of sticking up at a weird angle, the slide would simply jam on the cartridge and not strip it out of the magazine. This happened three more time before I gave up on it and put the gun away.
Part of what made these jams so difficult is because this pistol does not have a slide stop of any kind. This mean that you have to have three hands to hold the slide open, push the magazine release, and try to push or pull the magazine out at the same time. Half of these jams were impossible to clear on my own and I had to have my brother help me manhandle the weapon so we could clear it. Needless to say, this is unacceptable for a carry weapon, and I will be doing what I can to get rid of it. It is unfortunate it turned out this way, because the size and weight are perfect for a pocket gun. The recoil was also incredibly mild for this type of pistol. That being said, I would definitely not purchase one of these unless you got a chance to put in some range time first.

received my db380 today for the money and quality you can not ask for a better handgun why would you pay $400.00 + for a glock?

Purchased from Bud's (great price, shipping and communications!) a few weeks ago for my wife - she has a Bersa Thunder .380 that she shoots very well but its a bit to big and she seldom carries it.

I REALLY REALLY wanted to love this little pistol - looks great - perfect concealable size - not harsh to shoot. BUT FTF's right from the start - I cleaned and lubed prior to 1st. range trip and had numerous FTF's - went home, disassembled and lubed. Next trip more FTF's and jams, again cleaned and lubed. etc.etc.etc.

So after 250 rounds ( should be broken in eh?) I have no confidence in this gun for CC especially for my wife. The DB380 would cycle 4-5 mags perfectly then jam and FTF on next ( Factory Mags btw) But when a gun won't even cycle FMJ ammo it's a major problem.

I traded the DB380 in (lost some $ on this deal) on a Ruger Duo-Tone LCP .380 and out of the box the Ruger functions perfectly - no FTF's no problems and a pleasure for me and the wife to shoot - I have complete confidence in having her carry the Ruger.

Sorry Diamondback - I really did want to love this gun....Maybe Gen3 will be the charm??

As usual Bud's did not let me down. Diamondback DB380 arrived quickly and in perfect shape.....Plus it was a Gen 2 which I didn't expect for the super low price I paid!
Once again, after multiple sales, I have never been disappointed by Bud's.
