Very nice piece. More guns should offer the Heinie Slant Pro night sights as an option; they are easy to acquire and make aiming in low or no light a breeze. This model is as reliable and accurate as all of the Springfield line - very comfortable in the hand and with low recoil. Highly recommended. I also have the 9mm 3" sub-compact and just ordered the XDM 45 4.5" with Tritium night sights, but only because they don't offer the Heinie SP in that series. Bud's is great as usual if you can find what you want in stock. I guess items being frequently out of stock proves that people are buying from Bud's; they do make it easy, although I wish using the electronic checking account withdrawal process shipped as quickly as credit cards.

Another winner in the XD line! I bought this to compliment a number of 9mm's I have as well as make for a bit more "fun' in shooting. Had it out on the range for the first time this past weekend, and it didn't disappoint! Awesome shooter, dead accurate, great handling. The 4" barrel makes for a nice compact gun that give you something extra to think about when you pull the trigger. :) Thank you Springfield, thank you Buds!
