Well, what can I say? It's a good mount! I put it on the bottom rail of my Mini-14 (Intrafuse stock) and combined this with a Fenix TK 15! fits snugly, operates smoothly, and looks great! I wish it had a quick release! No big deal, though.

I like how it swivels to five positions. On my Mini, I will be wearing it on the farthest most right hand setting. It fits nicely along the side of the carbine that way. Store it on it's left side so this and my light are both protected along with the bolt lever and such.

The swivel feature was stiff at first. I put a little bit of lube on it and then adjusted it a few times ..and suddenly the thing started operating effortlessly. Was starting to worry that too much use might make it TOO easy to adjust, but I don't think that's the case. You just press in on the front of the unit where the bolt attaches, pull backwards, and adjust the swivel according to how you want it. Once it's in the right groove you let go and it locks into place very snugly. I saw some reviews where people said this mount was loose when mounting. If you put it on backwards, it will wobble. Just don't be dumb and you won't have any problems! =)

Anyways, this is a highly recommended piece of gear! If you need a 1'' mount and want the ability to adjust and swivel, this should be your first choice! I looked at the fixed ones, but you've got to consider the light will protrude from the back of the mount a little. With this in mind, if you want to add a vertical foregrip, it might get in the way and become uncomfortable.

BTW - with the light all the way to the right, when I have my hand on the foregrip, I can easily hit the on/off button of my light with my thumb! If you have a mini, an AR, etc you should be able to do the same! This eliminates the need for a pressure switch! AKA saves you $$$! Plus, if you are mounting a LASER, you can mount this in the middle setting and it will be aligned with the line of your bore! That way, there is only a little bit of vertical adjustment needed when firing. Makes it a lot easier to use a laser when it's not off to the side!
