Nifty little case, but it is too flimsy for my tastes. This is for very light security, but is not a truly secure application for a handgun although it meets the Federal requirements for locked container in the trunk. It also needs some type of padding to keep the contents from sliding around when closed. Personally I would rate it as 2.6 to 3.4 which makes it a 3 under this system.
