The magazine did not fit and exploded when I tried to remove it from the mag well.

A durable product that works well. I have conversion barrels for my P229 and this feeds 9mm and 357Sig ammo almost as well as it feeds .40. With 9mm the last round sometimes fails to load; I have had no problems with .40 or 357Sig.
