What a piece of crap! It does have a thin lock tab in the back to handle Saigai-specific release lever but the front is same as AK's meaning it has a groove at the front wall so that round never enters the chamber but rather hits the bottom edge of the barrel. Plastic is soft, spring - weak. I ended up buying original steel AK mags for $9.99 each (two out of three even came new!), and adapted them for Saiga using my own procedure. Works just fine.

5 stars all the way. Recieved the two mags from Bud's in about 5 days. They fit pretty good in my new Saiga 7.62x39. The new 30 round pro mags do not fit as tight as the 10 round mag that came with the rifle. I took them to the range the very next day and both mags worked flawlessly. I was using Tulammo and shot 30 rounds in both pro mags with zero issues. And the price from Bud's was half that of anyone else. I'll be doing business Bud's for a long time to come. Thanks!

I bought the Saiga sgl21, and these mags for it. For some reason they wont feed the rifle, I can chamber the first round, and fire the rifle. But then I get a FTF every time on the second round on both mags. I even tried to decrease the amount of rounds, untill I got to 2. Still the same thing. Noticed there was some some minor wobble up and down and left to right, maybe it's the up and down wobble thats's causing the problem. I bought 2 tapco 30 rounders and have had no problem. Not bud's fault, hey Bud's you still rock! Was looking online, and other people were having problems with the promag not feeding. So do your self a favor and get some other mags if you buy the sgl21.
