TLR-1 Game Spotter is a long-range, rail-mounted, game-tracking light featuring a shockproof, green C4 LED that produces a long-range beam. The green LED combined with a deep-dish parabolic reflector produces an intense hot-spot that provides long-range identification (350 meters), preserves night vision and won t spook varmints. It mounts directly to Mil-Std-1913 (Picatinny) and Glock-style rails, and includes rail locating keys for mounting to a variety of rails. The tethered battery door and latch mechanism for easy replacement of the two included 3V CR123A lithium batteries. Extremely tough, TLR-1 Game Spotters have been extensively live-fire tested and are made with impact-resistant construction of durable anodized aluminum, an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with scratch-resistant coating, and are IPX7 waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It is available with a standard door switch (with ambidextrous momentary/steady on/off) or the slightly larger remote door switch (with momentary/steady on/off and port plug for remote switch assembly). Each one is serialized for positive identification and assembled in USA.

This light is great, i was unimpressed at its power when first turning it on. When mounted on a rifle at night, i could make out exact shapes of any critters at 100 yards. this was my max range, I believe it could easily identify targets farther. The position of the switch seems perfect to me. I was unable to find out much about how it worked online. It has a rocker function with one direction switching it on momentarily and the other leaving it on. The nice thing about this was its position makes it perfect to mount to the bottom of a rifle. my front finger is perfectly lined up to hit either side of the switch with my hand resting on a magpul angled fore grip. No wires, external switches required. Think about it, any extra harnesses have to pulled and switched when moving to a different firearm. Nearly perfect, i would only change the attatchment clamp. I would prefer that the light slides onto the rail, and a pushbutton latch secured the lights position along the length of the rail. This way there would be no chance of it falling off.
