Trius Clay Target Trap

This clay thrower is great! Out of the box, the launch pedal is too high and the spring tension is too tight for enjoyable shooting. You have to push down so hard that you are not balanced to shoot when the clay is launched. The simple solution is to NOT use the supplied "eye" bolt. Go to your local hardware store and buy a 5 inch long 5/16" eye bolt w/nut and install that instead with the Trius manufacturer supplied washer. That lowered the pedal and relaxed the spring tension. You can then adjust the nut on the new eye bolt to get a tension balance that is both comfortable to foot operate and throws the clay target at a satisfactory altitude and down range distance. That one simple bolt change that cost me $1.99 made this thrower ideal & comfortable to use for hours at a time. The instructions for left, center, and right direction of the throwing work as indicated.
