Pachmayr has always been my favorite grip for all my pistols. This particular model .686 S&W 357 mag w/4" barrel is just an incredible revolver and this is the best grip for it by far. In almost 35 years of owning this pistol I have had to replace my initial set once. My son told me mine was "All cracked up." I ordered it, came quick and then when I went to change it to the new grip I couldn't find a crack anywhere on either side of the grip. So, I will be checking my own from now own but either way... Pachmayr is the best I believe.
