Made of an extremely heat resistant flexible material, these covers offer an enhanced gripping surface. These are nice if you just want minimal coverage for M-lok slots, and they provide some grip as well

If you are looking to block heat from your gas block look elsewhere. these are Rubber and will run hotter than your aluminum rail. I recommend the type 2 covers.
