It has tensile strength of 6638.78lbf (3011.3kgf) and bending Strength of 4055.84lbf (1839.7kgf). It has a textured and raised rubber handle and Black 1680 Denier outer shell. It comes with a belt sheath.

Deploys and locks quickly and securely. The grip feels secure during training and practice, but, it may be a bit large in diameter for a smaller hand size. It feels balanced and hefty and so suits my style. I take long walks that take me through areas where the homeless have become numerous and have squatted in groups. I have a C&C permit and do carry, but, I prefer having a non-lethal 1st alternative for the deterrent effect and establishing a larger defensive perimeter from any aggressors. This baton was economical and made with quality from quality materials.

Solid, well made. After a tiny drop of Mobile 1 at the two joints, 0 problems deploying or retracting. Purchased this as a less lethal form of defense against the occasional stray 4 legged creatures around town. Now, much like my primary form of defense, I pray I'll never need it.

Nice batton, lightweight, but durable. Could use a little of a positive lock when collapse, which causes it to rattle a bit.
