A tough and versatile knife which is lightweight yet durable, designed after the original large full size fixed blade Warthog, now with the unique convenient folder size. A fixed blade is a solid piece of steel, anchored to the handle without any folding mechanisms. It's durable and holds up well against the elements. The TUFNOL range of high quality epoxy resin bonded glass fabric laminates offer very high mechanical strength and low moisture absorption, combined with excellent electrical properties, under both dry and humid conditions. They are rigid materials with good dimensional stability and good resistance to a wide range of working environments. Invented by Michael Walker, uses a leaf spring type liner within the groove of the handle that snaps into position under the blade when it is deployed.
