This is a wonderful product for loading Ruger brand 5, 10 and 20 round magazines. I t is FAST and works easily.I do not use stripper clips, but load loose rounds with no trouble. Loading the last 10 rounds in a 30 round Ruger magazine was NOT successful. (Can anything compress that spring that far?) This loader does NOT fit a Tapco Mini-14 30 round magazine, since it is designed to align with the grooves on a Ruger steel mag. It is too narrow to fit the Tapco's.
