Warne Silver Scope Base For Smith & Wesson K/L/N Frame

This solid steel base features a unique design with an interesting twist. The Smith & Wesson factory sights are removed, and this base is installed in place of the rear sight. This provides a secure mounting point for all types of Weaver-Style rings. The front and rear factory sights are then reinstalled on the base, making them fully functional. With this base, you can choose to use the factory sights and still have a convenient mounting point for all of your optics.

I just purchased this scope base for my S&W 500 Magnum from Buds and it fits perfectly. I mounted a Red Dot Site on it. What is really great is that you can remount the stock S&W rear sight on the base. The base comes with an attached front blade, so you can pop off the red dot sight/scope and have standard sights immediately available. The silver base is stainless steel and matches the gun very well. I looked at 3 vendors before buying this scope base from Buds. The S&W Online Store wanted $99, and Impact Guns wanted $102. Buds sold it to me for $67!!. Go Buds!
