First, I'd like to say how impressed I am with the customer service at Bud's. I ordered by phone and Lee was extremely patient and helpful. Furthermore, the expeditiousness of shipping was nothing short of incredible. I placed this order at 12:45 pm on a Tuesday afternoon and at 11:10 am on Thursday (today), UPS delivered to my local FFL. That's less than 48 hours. Outsanding.

The shotgun was as advertised, showed up in perfect condition and the pricing was very generous. I am very pleased so far and am loving this thing. I'm taking it to the range in the next couple of days, so I could only rate it as a 4 so far, but I cannot imagine this thing being disappointing when I get there. The likelihood of this review becoming a "5" after I shoot is very high. Great work, Bud's. I will be back for more.

A good, reliable, aesthetically pleasing shotgun! Still have yet to fire the one I just bought, but one of my friends has one exactly the same as this (Mossberg 500SP "Persuader") and let me tell you -- these shotguns have some of the smoothest pump actions on the market for this price. They'll shoot any cheap 2 3/4" or 3" shells that you dish out to it.

The rubber butt pad also helps to reduce recoil substantially as well -- and there is a plethora of aftermarket goodies for this. I would also encourage anyone interested in a home defense shotgun to purchase this as it is (7 1). Magazine extensions are EXPENSIVE. And for the money, this is the what I would consider the best home defense shotgun for the price.


It also came with the "Cruiser" pistol grip conversion which was nice (don't see why people purchase the more expensive "Cruiser" when you get less).
