Referred to by Confederate soldiers as "that damn Yankee rifle that you load on Sunday and shoot all week", the 1860 Henry was the first successful repeating rifle. Using then new metallic cartridges, one man could load 15 rounds in about eight to ten seconds, making a single man the equivalent of 15 armed with traditional firearms. This modern day reproduction remains true to the appearance and function of the original while taking advantage of modern materials and manufacturing methods.
