Uberti’s 1860 Henry Rifle sports the model’s distinctive receiver, which was originally offered in bronze or steel. One of the most coveted rifles in the U.S. Civil War, it became infamous among Confederate troops as the rifle that Yankee soldiers could “Load on Sunday and shoot all week.” Today the Uberti 1860 Henry is an absolute favorite in N-SSA target shooting competitions, thanks to its historic looks, fast handling and great accuracy. The only “poetic license” we took is caliber selection, since the Henry’s original .44 rimfire is long obsolete.
Uberti has faithfully reconstructed the 1860 Henry and offers both steel- and brass-receiver versions. Since the .44 rimfire rounds used in the original Henry rifles are obsolete, our fully functional replicas come in your choice of .44/40 or .45 long colt chamberings with handsome walnut rear stocks and 24.25" barrels.

This is a beauty! Uberti did a great job. It is a piece of history and art. The workmanship is great. I fire it from time to time but I bought it because it is a replica of a rifle used in the Civil War. The Uberti is a little less costly than the Henry 1860 but either one is a great rifle. Imagin, a 162 year old design that I could hunt with today. Very happy with Bud's service too.

This is a beautiful recreation of the Henry rifle, although never chambered for the .45 long Colt, (the original) it should have been because it is so pleasant to shoot that caliber and in my humble opinion is superior to the .44-40. Warning! do not make the same mistake I did; use only full ogive, round, or flat-nosed rounds. Any bullet design with a shoulder, such as a semi-wad-cutter designed bullet is a bad idea, that puppy just want hunt. The shouldered bullet will not feed, and will definitely jam the action every time. Until I figured out my mistake I was embarrassed in front of my neighbor, friend and fellow shooting pal, who never fails to take advantage of my frustrations. The rifle is truly a nice piece of machinery. I would recommend it to family, friends, or any firearms enthusiast. .45 long Colt is manufactured by a plethora of companies- I prefer "made in America" Remington, Winchester, or Federal ammo, as these burn cleaner and are reliable... reliable like Bud's Gun Shop, which has made my buying experiences (for nearly a decade) very pleasurable, no hassles or regrets- Thanks again Buds.

Wonderful rifle. Beautiful quality. Bud's (as normal) is very first rate. The only issue I have with this rifle is that I broke it down to give a good first cleaning, and saw that there was a lot of shavings inside from the fabrication process. Not big deal, and I cleaned it out. One should always go through a newly purchased rifle to make sure everything functions correctly. I can't wait to take it out to the range.

Five stars all the way for everything...dealing with Buds, beauty of the gun, build of the gun, operation of the gun, accurate build of this historic firearm, accuracy itself...I couldn't be happier. The sheer beauty of this rifle from the walnut stock to the brass receiver, to the octagon barrel...fantastic. Took it to the range yesterday and it was dead on accurate right out of the box. At 25 yards I knocked the bullseye out of the target with the very first shot and the rest of the shots followed suit. I couldn't get on the longer ranges, but I know it will perform just as well. For the money, this one is great! If you want a historic 1860 Henry, you can't go wrong with this beauty. The action is nice and it cranked out the rounds with no problem. I recommend it highly.
