CMMG Inc. MKLE 22 LR Semi-Auto Rifle - 16" Barrel, 25 Rounds, Synthetic

Have yet to fire this weapon in .22 LR. Initial inspection excellent fit and finish, well balanced. Very pleased with overall look. This was purchased for M-16 training as it duplicates the size, weight and action of that weapon better than anything else I have seen in .22LR. Everyone who has handled it was very impressed. Upper can be changed out to NATO. I am very happy with this purchase, no regrets. If it fires as good as it looks it's a keeper. Price point is higher than others, but it seems rock solid. Appears formidable.

If I had to shoot this with the included CMMG mag, I would give it 1 star, and probably let it rot in the safe. After 25 frustrating rounds and trying to get the mag in and out of the magwell, I ordered the Boonie Packer Better Mag adapter. Now I can use the S&W M&P 15-22 mags. Took 5 minutes to install, and since I have joyfully fired over 600 rounds without a single problem. I have fired CCI minimags, CCI Tactical, CCI Standard Velocity, a couple types of fiocchi, and Remington bulk. All fired perfectly. The Magpul MBUS was dead nuts accurate at 25 yds. with CCI ammo. I wanted a .22lr AR that functioned exactly like my M4, and with the addition of the Better Mag adapter, I now have it. The 15-22 will go to my granddaughter when she's a little older. Don't hesitate if you to shoot an AR weapon inexpensively.

Very well built. Shoots anything. Love it.

Shipping was fast, Bud's customer service and layaway was exceptional. Rifle came as described. I cleaned, oiled, and ran 500 round through it. 2 ftf. She isn't picky about ammo you feed her either. I took the upper off and installed on another rifle. It ran like a top. Great weapon. The only thing I didn't like was the bhoa. It's ill fitting and doesn't work, but I don't mind, i removed it.It's a great rifle to train with.

Easy to clean, Shoots straight and very well built. Hard to find magazines at this time so factor that into the purchase price.
