This is a really well made gun. The quality and craftsmanship set it apart. Beautiful walnut stock. Nice bluing. Smooth bolt. Great trigger. Nothing like a Weatherby!

Nice looking gun, shoots well enough, Weatherby entry level rifle, I sold my Savage 10 30-06 to a friend who borrowed and fell in love with it. I replaced with this rifle now I miss my old Savage - nothing wrong with the WB just I preferred the trigger and action on the Savage 10 (wood stock model). Anyway the WB is fine, the wood looks better than the Savage I'll keep this rifle around.

Great gun right out of the box ..put a cheap Nikon scope on it shot tight groups right off the back ...deer kill at 100 yards first time taken it out....only thing bad to say about the gun is the wood was dull and slick.. like it had a matte finish on it other wise great buy will diffidently last a lifetime

Great so far. I saved a long time for this rifle so I am glad I got it. Hopefully first deer season will go smooth.

Wood to metal fit is perfect. This S2 has lived up to Weatherby's accuracy guarantee. This gun can reach out there! It's a keeper.

I was pleased to see the rifle arrive so swiftly after I placed my order with Buds. It is a very good looking rifle. The stock is darker than I expected but still looks great. I had it bore sighted and shot a box ammo and the gun is ACCURATE. I Cant wait to blast some hogs with this bad boy. One thing i noticed is that the wood stock is delicate marks and scratches easily. So if you want a beater this is not it. Overall, great gun great price and great service.
